About This Project
Heatherbrae was the construction managers for Brock Commons located northeast of East Mall and Walter Gage Road. This was two separate buildings along Walter Gage Road. The Northern building will consist of an 18 storey residential tower, framed by two mid-rise wings, with food service on the gound floor of the southwing. The Southern building which replaces the current Brock Annex, will be made up of 13 storeys for academic and institutional use, including 2 daycares and a rooftop playground. Together these buildings will provide up to 1,000 student beds, a multi faith space, VP student Offices, a legal clinic space for the School of Law, informal learning spaces, a 150 seat classroom, institutional space for the Faculty of Arts, a collegium for first year students and facilities for cycling commuters.
This project is a LEED Gold certified project and targets Rick Hanson Accessibility Gold Certification.
