About This Project
Heatherbrae have recently completed the replacement and seismic upgrade of Lord Kitchener Elementary School for The Board of Education School District No. 39 (Vancouver). The project included construction of a 4000sq. m, two story concrete, steel, and wood new replacement school and seismic upgrade and restoration of the existing 900 sq. m. 1914 wood frame heritage building. The new building is connected directly to the relocated heritage structure and was constructed while the original school building and playing fields remain fully operational.
