Our work on the Sliding Centre involved the construction of the venue for the bobsleigh, luge and skeleton competitions for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. This work included maintaining strict scheduling and construction tolerances in the face of adverse weather and ground conditions.
Certification of runs from each of the six start houses was approved both by the International Bobsleigh and Tobogganing Federation (FIBT) and the International Luge Federation (FIL). In 2008, the Sliding Centre received two British Columbia Ready-Mixed Concrete Association Awards for Excellence in Concrete Construction and LEED Silver certification.
